Danielle Price is an author, social impact strategist and healing-centered thought leader whose work explores the intersection of Black identity, grief, faith and community transformation. With more than three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, community health improvement, ministry, and organizational development, she has dedicated her career to helping people identify and address the unseen factors that influence individual and collective well-being.
As founder of Conscious Nation Innovations and co-founder of Soul Repair 360, Danielle

Centering the Black experience within larger narratives of history, religion, race and identity, Price examines the Invisible Giants—including internalized racism, unresolved grief and spiritual disconnection—that can quietly shape what we believe about ourselves, our history and Yahuah (God).
Ultimately, How We Got Here asks what becomes possible when we recognize what has been operating beneath the surface and begin to reconsider what we carry forward.

How We Got Here would be a good book to read in a book club. I actually believe the book needs a study guide because it does get a little deep. My favorite chapter was about identity, chapter 6. I especially like the part about why identity matters.
